Wow....Hawaii sounds awesome! I'd love to see all the speakers/entertainers you mentioned. I met Barbara Bush once, she is a lovely lady. Have a wonderful time with your daughter! My dream vacation right now would be to go to Greece! :) Safe travels! I can't wait to hear all about your trip!

I am super jealous, Maxine. I've never been anywhere cool or exotic unless you count Haiti and that was so NOT a "real" vacation (mission trip) and there were no luxuries.
I'm glad you were able to purchase another camera.. Take tons of pics and make sure to post them so we can all live vicariously through you :)
my idea is just to rest in a quiet place in the moutains. Maybe Russia?
I am glad you are having a great time, such a shame that you didn't find the camera yet (and I say yet becuase I am sure it will turn up).
My favourite vacation destination is Rarotonga, well one of the little islands that make up Rarotonga, with a good book and a hamock.
PS I love that layout, very clever.
I don;t know where my first post went...sigh My dream vacation is Madison, Wisconsin in the fall...

hope you have fun in Hawaii. We went last november with my parents and my four and five year old kids. what island did you go to? we went to Waikiki, which i think is in Oahu. Eight hundred photos later lolol.
that really was my dream vacation, minus the family politics and logistics..
Hawaii sounds fabulous!
But if I could go anywhere, I think I'd like to visit Maine in the fall to see the lighthouses and the trees changing colors.
