We're having 2 Christmas dinners this year - one on Sunday with my sister & her family and the next on Christmas Day. This year my mother & I are sharing the cooking on Christmas Day. I'll take the turkey & goodies to my mother's house to eat. We always have turkey, dressing, cranberry sauce, squash, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, carrot salad, mandarin salad as well as rolls. Dessert is apple pie (mom makes the best), cookies & squares that I make and the evening is spent munching on goodies & a crab dip that I make as well....I also make the traditional Christmas morning breakfast of Scrambled Egg Casserole....now I'm hungry!!!doverdihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14314443446800793699noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7232672263145638601.post-20414663697050531602008-12-19T22:17:00.000-08:002008-12-19T22:17:00.000-08:00Now you're talking--I love food!! I was hoping for ham this year, but we're having turkey (NO complaints!!) and I love making a certain sweet potato dish, and we have yummy stuffing, and pumpkin pie and I'm going to make either pumpkin pie or tiramisu cheesecake. Can't decide. Not sure what else we'll have. We're celebrating with both families! My children are blessed to spend every holiday and birthday with their grandchildren.java divahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06335176920601718794noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7232672263145638601.post-22810607631282026392008-12-19T21:14:00.000-08:002008-12-19T21:14:00.000-08:00Every year on Christmas Eve for as long as I can r...Every year on Christmas Eve for as long as I can remember we have Tex-Mex food for dinner.
